My wife Kinga and I have been running a family-style children’s home for over 18 years.

We currently look after a group of wonderful children – 10 in total

Unfortunately, the last two years have been exceptionally difficult for our family.

My wife Kinga fell seriously ill. The illness robbed us of our peace of mind and strength, and to this day she requires very expensive, ongoing rehabilitation and treatment. It is a daily struggle for health and fitness. 

During this time, everything has been subordinated to her treatment. Including the children’s holidays.

For two years, we were unable to go anywhere – not because we didn’t want to, but simply because we couldn’t. Our finances and daily life were entirely focused on Kinga’s therapy and rehabilitation. The children saw this, worried

and went through it all with us. 

Why are we asking for help?

Today, after these two years, we would like to do something truly important for them:

to give them a break, a moment of carefree fun and the feeling that, despite everything, they can still just be children. 

We want to organise a holiday trip through a travel agency (safe, reliable, with a full package and insurance), because with such a large group, this is the most sensible and safest solution.

Who is this fundraiser for?

The trip is for 11 people:

• 3 adult carers
• 8 children aged between 7 and 17:
• Karol (7), Nikodem (10), Orfeusz (11), Piotrek (14), Zoja (16), Wera (16), Malwina (16), Ania (17). 

How much do we need?

The cost of the trip for the whole group is between 41,000 and 49,000 PLN (depending on the destination and available dates).

We are looking at the summer holiday period: 18 July – 2 August, ideally around 14 days. 

The amount covers, among other things:

• transport and flights/travel,
• accommodation,
• meals,
• insurance,
• the tour manager’s assistance and the travel agency’s organisation,
• main attractions.

What will we do with every donation?

Every zloty brings us closer to making it possible for the children to, for the first time in two years:

For them, a trip like this isn’t a luxury. It’s hope and strength for the months ahead.
