Help Build a School for Our Hometown Kids
Description
Hello everyone, and thank you for your attention. I am a young Italian-Senegalese man born in Senegal, in a small village near St Louis (northern Senegal), where I lived for my first 11 difficult years. To go to school, we had to walk about 10 km to another village every day, there and back. Twenty years later, the village has grown, and a few years ago, a small “school” was built, so to speak. The school lacks practically all equipment, desks, blackboards, chalk, etc. The biggest problem is space. In a village with almost 400 children, the school has only three classrooms and three teachers. Since I moved to Italy, my dream has been to build a school in my native village so that the children can receive a proper education without having to walk 20 km a day and have all the materials they need. I need your support to be able to realize and improve the future of hundreds of young children. Thank you all.
