Description
Guided by the principle of Ubuntu – “I am because we are” – the Ubuntu Club provides a stimulating environment for the children of Masiphumelele. The children at the club come from families who cannot afford childcare. The club offers an escape from the challenging environment of the township, with a focus on personal growth, learning and self-discovery. To support the children’s development, we place great importance on a healthy lifestyle. Three days a week, we therefore provide them with a nutritious meal. And as many children have experienced or are dealing with trauma, offering psychosocial support is an essential part of the care provided at the centre.
For Christmas, we are collecting donations to put together a pack for each child containing essential stationery for their new school year: a good pen, exercise books, erasers and coloured pencils.
Together, we are building a better future. Your support is a direct investment in the Masiphumelele community and the leaders of tomorrow. Join Ubuntu and help us make a difference this Christmas.
With a donation of €22.00, you’ll ensure that one child can start the new school year with all the supplies they need! Donate and be part of the change!
