Description
I was diagnosed with cancer in 2021. Since then, I have undergone eight months of chemotherapy, several major operations, deep vein thrombosis and countless medical examinations. After four years of constant struggle, I have now found myself in such a difficult situation that I have to fight for both my health and my livelihood at the same time.
It has never been easy for me to ask for help. I have always tried to solve my problems on my own, but I have now reached the point where I can no longer cope with the burdens weighing on me alone.
In 2021, I was diagnosed with choriocarcinoma. I underwent eight months of chemotherapy, which was extremely taxing both physically and mentally. After a long and difficult battle, I managed to beat the disease, and I hoped that I could finally put this period behind me.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
In 2022, I needed life-saving surgery due to an intestinal obstruction. The problem went undetected for months, even though I regularly visited A&E and underwent numerous private examinations. I lived in pain for nine months before the diagnosis was finally made. In the end, I had to undergo not one, but two operations.
During my recovery, I suffered another blow: I developed deep vein thrombosis, which brought further treatment and uncertainty into my life.
In the summer of 2023, I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. The cyst is located in an extremely difficult spot, and due to adhesions formed as a result of previous operations, its removal poses a serious risk. During consultations so far, no one has agreed to perform the operation.
In May this year, my deep vein thrombosis flared up again. Because of this, I was off work for a long time, which further worsened my already difficult financial situation. The illnesses of recent years have seriously affected not only my health but also my livelihood. I have now reached the point where my housing security is also at risk.
My current goal is to fund a specialist operation and the associated treatments, as well as the necessary medication. The cost of these is expected to reach €5,000, which I am unable to cover from my own resources in my current situation.
I would like to use the funds raised to cover:
- the costs of the specialised surgery,
- the necessary medication and treatments,
- the costs of medical check-ups and tests,
- as well as the most basic living expenses during the period I will be unable to work due to my illness.
It is not easy for me to ask for help, but I am now forced to do so. Every contribution brings me closer to receiving the necessary treatment, continuing my recovery, and not losing the security that I need most during this period.
If you are able, please support me with whatever amount you can. If you are unable to help financially, you can still offer tremendous support simply by sharing this fundraiser so that it reaches as many people as possible.
I am truly grateful for every donation, every share and every word of encouragement.
Thank you for reading my story, and thank you to everyone who is standing by me in this long and difficult struggle. ❤️
