Description
My wife and I have led a happy and peaceful life with our two wonderful sons joining us. In spite of all the usual worries, everything was working until one day my wife received a letter from the court demanding payment of almost CZK 300,000.
Together we have been paying off various debts for some time - my wife's debt for the renovation of our flat (more than 10 years old) and my fine for a negligent accident in the amount of CZK 250,000. In addition, we have a mortgage on an apartment (55 m²). Still, we tried to manage everything. My plan was to renovate the apartment and rent it out so we could afford a bigger place to live - after all, two adults, two children and two dogs in a small apartment is not an ideal situation.
Unfortunately, the court is now demanding huge repayments, which is pushing us to the limit. My wife is on maternity leave and I work as an electrician, plus I have various part-time jobs to make ends meet. Still, we barely have enough for basic needs, and when an unexpected expense comes up, I don't know where to get the money. My biggest fear is what would happen if I had to go on sick leave - then we would be in a really unsolvable situation.
I know that there are many people in far greater need - seriously ill children, homeless families or people who have suffered an unexpected tragedy. I always told myself that fundraisers like this were mainly for them, and I never wanted to be in a situation where I had to ask for help myself. But now I don't know which way to go. I wish I could give my family peace and a normal life, take my sons on at least a small trip, or buy them a toy they want without having to wonder if we will have enough left for food.
If you decide to help us, it will be a huge relief for us. Thank you for reading our story and any p
opposition.
