A married couple’s battle with cancer – a plea for help

This fundraiser has been set up to help a married couple who are facing one of the toughest challenges of their lives: they are both battling cancer. Fate has presented them with an incredibly cruel challenge – instead of supporting each other as healthy people, they must fight for their own lives at the same time.

Since their diagnosis, their daily lives have changed completely. Every day brings pain, extreme fatigue and constant hospital visits. The treatment is very aggressive, their bodies are gradually weakening, and their hope is often put to the test. Despite this, they do not give up. They support one another and keep fighting, even when they have no strength left.

The disease is at an advanced stage, and the costs of treatment, tests, medication and medical care are enormous. Unfortunately, their financial resources are limited, and the funds they had saved up have quickly run out. Without outside help, continuing treatment is becoming impossible.

This couple are not asking for pity, but for a chance. A chance for further treatment, for relief from suffering, for the time they could still spend together. Every donation – regardless of the amount – is a step forward in this unequal battle. It is a symbol of hope and proof that they are not alone.

The fundraiser was initiated by a loved one who could not remain indifferent to their suffering and wishes to give them a real chance at life. Every form of support – a donation, sharing the fundraiser, or a kind word – makes a huge difference.
