Description

There are 30 days left until we leave for Ukraine.

This elderly man, these children, this wounded soldier and these lads on the front line all have different stories.

But they have one thing in common.

They still need help.

Over the last four years, I have met thousands of people in Ukraine. I have seen destroyed homes, empty children’s rooms, hospital beds, tears and pain that no camera can fully capture.

But I saw something else too.

I saw strength.

I saw dignity.

I saw hope.

At the start of July, we’re setting off again with humanitarian aid. And the more we manage to collect over the next 30 days, the more we’ll be able to deliver and help.

🔹HUMANITARIAN AID FOR CIVILIANS

Thousands of elderly people continue to live near the combat zones. Many of them are left alone, without relatives, without sufficient funds and sometimes without the bare necessities.

We are collecting:

• food;

• hygiene products;

• medicines;

• insect repellents and other essential items.

Sometimes a single food parcel means peace of mind for a whole week.

Sometimes a single visit means that someone hasn’t been forgotten.

🔹CHILDREN AND ORPHANS

We continue to help children freed from Russian occupation, as well as crisis centres housing refugees, mainly from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

War takes so much away from a child.

Let’s at least ensure it doesn’t take away their hope.

🔹HOSPITALS AND WOUNDED SOLDIERS

We will visit two hospitals in the Zhytomyr region with food, medicines and essential supplies.

But we will also be taking something else.

Support.

Sympathy.

A presence.

Because sometimes the person in the hospital bed needs not only medicine, but also to hear that their sacrifice has not been in vain.

🔹HELP FOR THE FRONT LINE

Our friends on the front line need:

• generators;

• ‘CHUIKA’ systems;

• Starlink devices;

• petrol-powered chainsaws;

• essential equipment.

One generator means light.

One Starlink means connectivity.

An early warning system can save lives.

I am grateful to everyone who donates, helps, prays for us or shares our work.

After all these years, I know one thing for sure:

Sometimes a single lamp means light for an entire family.

One generator means warmth.

A packet of medicines means another chance.

And a gesture of compassion means that someone has not been forgotten.

That is why we are setting off again.

And I believe we will succeed again.

Together.
