Description

Help a single mum and her non-verbal autistic son find a safe home

My name is Zsuzsanna, a single mum from Hungary. For the past 7 years, I have been raising my 8-year-old son entirely on my own.

My little boy has moderate, non-verbal autism. He cannot speak and requires constant attention, patience and a calm, safe environment. I am his only source of security; he depends on me for everything.

We have now found ourselves in a very difficult situation. The flat we are renting has been sold, and we will soon have to leave our home. We have no family support and nowhere else to go.

I’ll do everything I can to protect my little boy, but time is running out.

My dream is very simple: a small, safe home where my little boy can live in peace. We’d like to move to a quieter place where a special school is available for him. A stable home would completely change his life.

We are asking for help:

  • a deposit for a rental property and to secure accommodation, or
  • to purchase a small house in a safe neighbourhood

Every little bit of support brings us closer to security. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing our story is a huge help.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this and for any help you can give.
